For increased productivity CVE's shuttle system provides an automated vacuum load lock that enables the work chamber to be maintained under vacuum and minimise cycle times. Typical configarations of the shuttle loading include a rotary manipulator and tailstock to support the piece part and rotate it under the beams during welding.

As with all EB systems the process can be fully automated to provide high quality, high reproducibility and high throughput.
